You should have a free combo after that since he would have sent his drones after calling the assist. Only can give some advice for spiral(minimal), since I don't use those other two characters. Bonne player. *shrugs* Posted by hachihyaku on 04:13:2001 05:08 PM: Tron's air drill is faster than Blackheart's antiair assist. Use the drill instead of an air dash. You can punish the assist with it when it comes out. Like if Sentinel calls Blackheart and you're in the air, the drill will bass through Sentinel (even if he's blocking) and hit Blackheart. Only do this with air drills though, because the regular one has major end lag time. I STRONGLY suggest using Tron's projectile assist. If you've got Spiral on point, you can teleport around the trap and start a ground combo. Throw in Tron's projectile assist while you're in the middle of the ground combo and it'll do more damage than you can imagine. Tron's bread-and-butter combo: j.lp, j.mp, lp, mp, h Drill x(at lag) Lunch Rush. The Lunch Rush takes some practice to hit, since you have to manually link it into the combo. It DOES connect, it just takes awhile to get the timing down. If you're not confident in your ability to hit it (since you'll get punished HARD if you miss) cancel into the King Kobun instead. d.lk d.mk sets up the Lunch Rush perfectly. (Sorry for all the Tron info, she's the only one of those characters I really know how to use...) The only combo I ever came up with hehe. now it is STOLEN!!! hehe. nah jokin. I didnt know that about the d.lp d.mp into the lunch rush but now you say that...It is perfectly clear. thanks. I foind an easy way to connect the lunch rush to the drill. is.... lp mp+sipral(on projectile assist) then drill. if the drill hits then the 6 knives following behind you hit after you giving you enough time to connect the lunch rush. or. they get thr knifes and the lunch rush seperate.. either way...it hurts. Thanks. and yes I do have a hard time with it with my team. but..I prefer a challenge. When BlackHeart does his AAA, he has this extremely long lag time, and if you are on the ground, it will only hit once. Anyways, after the AAA, he will taunt you still, this is why I never use him as an assist. Now where was I, oh yeah, anyways, waste him with what ever you have, VHC(Varible Hyper Combo/Triple Team,) if you have it. But after a while, the opponnet will get smart, and it'll fly with Sentinal, but atleast he will stop using BlackHeart for awhile. The only problem is, Spiral might get into trouble, if she does her Metomophsis attacks, as a VHC. Posted by blt on 04:14:2001 02:48 PM: you can do the same damage that the lunch rush does, with an air combo instead. waste of meter. with spiral you can teleport out of the drone trap, just be careful that he doesn't read your teleport and set you up to land on drones. spiral (with the assists your team has) is as a major disadvantage to sentinel/blackheart. because she can't do knife stuff (his super armor allows him to effectively ignore the knives and just hit her with his beams, and she can't load the knives easily due to blackheart homing in on her if she tries), and teleport games are dangerous (blackheart, again, homes in on her if called at the right time, and it's possible for sentinel to punish a teleport big time if he reads it, by using the drones). and since sentinel takes so little damage, you have to outplay him like 3 times over to win. hard fight. with tron, it's hard. she's too big and fat to escape easily. there are points where you can superjump from the trap..then use her air drill to dodge blackheart. this will get you out, but you will still have a hard time taking control.. one thing that works well is tron's air drill just off the ground.. it beats a lot of sentinels moves and has lots of range. if you make him block an air drill you can either go for another air drill or throw him as soon as you land.. if in the corner you land a throw, air combo him off it (time it properly and he cannot roll out, a la magneto throw in the corner). proper corner air combo is launch, short(2hit)->strong,pause,->forward->fierce, land, low short->stand rh(rock).hold the rock for just a second them let go so the second hit will juggle. this combo will result in sentinel recovering just like an inch off the ground... letting you either launch, or throw into launch again, or king kobun'ing his helper (if you think he will call one, king kobun is real good against them). to gain even more damage off the combo, you can try going for an airthrow (this is techable of course). like: launch, short(2hit)->strong->forward, air throw then land, and launch again .. it is guaranteed after the air throw. you can get up to two air throws in any combo.. mix it up so they dont know to expect it. all in all tron is not very good against sentinel, especially with no antiair assist to help her. you will have to make a large effort to defeat him. Posted by Nate X Grey on 04:14:2001 04:16 PM: If your opponent is stupid enough to be predictable in doing the ground version of the Sent/BH trap, you can simply teleport outta it with Spiral and snapback them both and proceed to launch BH to death. With T.Bonne on point, try using Spiral gamma or alpha to cover a little while you either chip with a tiger knee motion drill or go for crossups. Sj XX air dash XX lk is a good way to hit high rather fast. It might not work as well against Sentinel but its worth a try. Let the lk hit twice or so then do a mp, land, dash in and do whatever you want. Normal jump XX air dash(Tron can air dash the moment she leaves the ground even though its a normal jump, unlike say, Magneto) XX hp. You should air dash just over them and the hp will be an overhead from behind. Something similar to Magneto's triangle jump stuff but much slower. What blt said about her corner throw is also VERY VERY VERY useful. I can't stress it enough. My version of her corner combo is launch, lp, pause, lk, short pause, mk, short pause, hp, land, s.lk(OTG), hk, hold, release. Its much easier this way.
